A traditional bricklayers tool with a chisel and point.
The hardened point is used for raking out weathered mortar joints and for digging out in clay, shale, sand or chalk, while the chisel end is used for dressing or removing redundant mortar from bricks. Fitted with a fibreglass handle which is lightweight, extremely strong and resistant to moisture.
SAFETY TIP
Wear safety spectacles, or goggles, when hammering.
Never use hammers to strike hardened metal.
Strike squarely and avoid glancing blows.
Never strike with the side of a hammer.
Do not use a hammer with a loose or damaged head.
Always use the correct hammer for the job.
